Welcome to Bridgend House which stands on the Green in the centre of the award-winning village of Drumnadrochit, just a short walk from the Monster Exhibitions, Castle Urquhart and mysterious Loch Ness.
Bridgend House has can offer 1 double room and 1 king / twin room, both en suite. Also, a single room is available by arrangement.
Bridgend House is approximately 140 years old and has a claim to have been a 'poor house' at the end of the 1880s and then a prison. Later it was used as lodgings for soldiers returning from World War I. Behind the house is the River Enrick which flows from high up in the glens and down into Loch Ness.
The present village green was the site of a busy cattle market in early 1800 when drovers brought their cattle to the village and then onwards to the docks at Inverness via the drovers tracks which now shadow the Great Glen Way walking route.
Bridgend House offers high quality accommodation and is an ideal base for touring this wonderful part of the Highlands.
