Welcome to Bridgend House which stands on the Green in the centre of the award-winning village of Drumnadrochit, just a short walk from the Monster Exhibitions, Castle Urquhart and mysterious Loch Ness.
Bridgend House can offer 1 x double room, 1 x super-king double / twin room, both with en-suite - there is a single room available in association with the double room, as a `family unit `
Bridgend House was built in the 1840s, and has a claim to have been a `poor house` at the turn of the century, and possibly a prison at a later date. Behind the house is the River Enrick which flows from high up in the glens, and then down to Loch Ness - unfortunately, the Monster passes when I am asleep !!
The present village green was the site of a busy cattle market in early 1800 when drovers brought their cattle to the village and then onwards to the docks at Inverness via the drovers tracks which now shadow the Great Glen Way walking route.
Bridgend House offers high quality accommodation and is an ideal base for touring this wonderful part of the Highlands.
